Our COMMUNITY or Poets

We host a Quarterly Poetry Slam at The Black Sheep Pub & Restaurant in Ashland, OR.

After the SLAM, we have a Winner Showcase Event at Bloomsbury Books in Ashland, OR where the most recent winners have their 15 minutes of fame to present their work to another audience.

We have Monthly Poetry Events at Barnes & Noble in Medford, OR – there are no judges or stop watches timing pieces at this event. Poets have a little more freedom to share what they want, instead of what will WIN the SLAM.

We have started SLAM Workshop Events at the Library in Medford, OR where one of our poets will share their process and some of their poetry with a group of peers, and then give a prompt and we all work on a new poem to share with other participants and receive feedback.
